The poll asks "what do you run?" and then you thread title asked "T-case Prefenaces?"

point you have stock duals, but you really want 22.8 with 4.7 right?

nice man single 4.7 thats what I want to do, is it low enough for rock crawling , not that I will do that ,but just wondering, if you put it low , can you stall it with applying the   brakes, or does it keep going

Its defintily low enough for crawling, or for the crawling that I in my mostly stock rig. I have stalled it by hittin the brakes too hard. I definitly like having it over the stock ratio

Depends on the terrain, I have stock duals so in double low it'd put me at 5.1984. I feel it does the job on most trail, but when I'm going over big rock piles I could definitely use a lower final drive.

If I didn't have an auto I'd go single 4.7 case works just fine perfectly low.

Im setting up a 2:28/4:7. Anyone run duals with4.7/4.7? Just curious if that would even be worthwhile.
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point, in your rambling incoherent response, were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Back when they were behind a 20R and a 5 speed I had 2.28 x 4.7.  But when I swapped in the 3.4 and automatic transmission, double low just way too low of a gear ratio.  So I sold off the rear 4.7 case for $400 and a stock case.  2.28 x 2.28 works great behind the 3.4 auto.  I think it's better than a single 4.7 case because you can go to the stock ratio for a little more wheel spin.  With an auto that has to start off in 1st gear every time, that's a huge bonus.

you will bust a birfield before it stalls more than likely.   at least thats how I broke my first birfield

I'm running duel stock cases with a bobby long output, both 23 spline. Tire size, gear ratio and the type of wheelin' you do is the main factor. I run 42's and 4:88 gears. If I ran a lot of rocks then I would go for 4.7 in the rear case.
1986 4Runner turbo sas high pinion,E-locked 4:88's,taco rear Detroit locker,22ret forged everything,
duels mc07-r10 cut 42's.
