Topic: rear seat

I need some help on a 84' 4runner. The issue is the rear seat. How do I know if I have the factory brackets for the rear seat? What they look for etc?
Cause the po or someone welded a custom bracket it looks like and welded to the back rollbar  so the seat sits way higher then it should and blocks the rear view, as well as sits so high it touches the rear windows. I would have to probally grind the weld off to get that custom bracket off.

So I can re-install the back seat where it is supposed to go?

the rear seats sit down into that hollow/step down.  it should be a LONG ways from the window. in fact I believe the top of the back seats are about level with the bottom of the removable top.

Anyone have pics on the rear seat is installed? I need some pics of just for reference. We grinded off that ghetto fab job off the seat so now thats done.

the hinge for the bottom cushions are at the bottom front which causes it to fold forward. the backrest has the hinge in the bottom corner with a latch on the upper corner and folds the backrest down and forward.
