My dad mought a 82 yota, the same year I was born.  It was only 2wd but he lifted it and ran that thing hard.  I remember watching my dad pulling my cousin out of the mud in his blazer.  That was the best, a 2wd yota pulling out a full size Chevy 4x4. I remember going every where with that thing.

figured this post could keep going.  1st wheeler was a 1987 dodge caravan with a mitsubishi 4 cylinder engine.  :smack:
actually :slap: every time my dad found out I went wheeling in it and told me not to do it again.  Oh well!!! never learned and now it is dead :rivers:

My first wheeler is the one i got now! im only 17 so... not much else i could have done haha. my parents used to pull a damn full sized pontoon with it!! it was funny watching people flip when this little truck pulled the mammoth outa the water, i just crapped my pants! its been reliable though, dad broke a block, i busted a head gasket, then 4x4 cranked it! now im waiting for my clutch... once i get that thing, my truck is gonna be out every day!

My first 4x4 was an 87 wrangler witht he 4.2. I research everything to death EXCEPT this jeep. Turns out 87 was the worst year to ever buy, transmission made of beer cans, np207 t case (also junk) but that motor was a beast! I had it when I was stationed in England and it was a definate head turner just stock and covered in mud. The locals all had diesel toyota hilux's and swore by them but I never found out why till about a year ago when I bought mine. I will never turn back ( but I do miss the open top jeep thing)
