X2 on the Kershaw.  My buddie has a few of them and I just got to use a couple this last week.  Very nice action and they have a comfortable feel to them.

I just ended up getting a CRKT m-16-12z.

So far i think its a really nice knife.. the locking feature is kind of weird at first but ive gotten used to it.

I'm here at Ft.Knox KY. The M-16 is a Kit Carson design. Kit lives right down the road here in KY. I got to meet Kit about 2 months ago and had him laser engrave my Afghanistan tour knife. He is a great guy and totally supports the Army and the troops. He has made a great knife for CRKT and I will def buy another one besides the 4 I already have...

Figures though that link i posted to show which one it was is a bit cheaper than what i paid for mine..  that always happens to me.. lol

ok, time to bring htis back up.... as i want a knife, and am in kyrgyzstan en route to afghanistan...

i want something 3" or under, as that is all we can carry in the states on base....

i got a benchmade for christmas and it is sweet. mine is a hair over 3 inches on the blade but they have plenty that are under
