1985 FJ60
« on: Nov 05, 2010, 02:54:05 PM »
Hello All!

Flo is back up for sale, and this time for good. I have a bunch of kids (5) and usually take more and the dog when we wheel and camp. FJ60 is just to small for us, I would really like to find a 67-72 Suburban 4x4 to build for this duty. that said, here are her specs!

Build and trail thread: http://forum.ih8mud.com/60-series-wagons/346582-everybody-meet-flo-truck-stop-waitress.html

1985 FJ60 270,000mi, i have owned it for ~10k mi.
Smogged, titled, good to go, have most paper work.
Not perfect, good daily driver (except the MPG)
-Rebuilt Carb
-New Gas Tank and all lines (factory recall) 6mo.
-Saginaw Steering Pump Conversion 6mo.
-Top End rebuild 50k ago
-Bottom End rebuild 40k ago
-Flowmaster
-Rear End rebuild sometime in the past
-Leaks some oil (bad pan bolt, jimmy rigged at some point but works good)
-Trail scars (Bald Mtn., Red Lake x2 in current form)
-Clean interor
-3rd row seat and belts
-Attached storage box next to 3rd seat
-ProComp 17x9 w/BFG AT 285/70/17 ~5/32
-New Cat ~6mo.
-1.25" wheel spacers up front.
-Rebuilt ASIAN Hubs 6mo.
-No Radio
-All lights and guages work except front side marker lights.
-custom front bumper (in progress, i will give you all the pieces)
-Rear seatbelt recall done 6mo.
-No AC, but all the parts are there. Compressor is shot.
-Some Misc. parts!

Other than that you can see pics here: http://picasaweb.google.com/familygeek/1985FJ60ForSale02?authkey=Gv1sRgCI6_2fqHq--JHQ#

I am looking to get $2500 obo, or I am looking to trade for a 67-72 4x4 Suburban! Let me know if you need more info. Thanks for looking.

It's in Fresno, CA!

Anyone need a 60?

Anyone have a 67-72 Suburban? I am interested in any mechanical condition not running/no motor is even better. I can handle some rust, but not falling off the frame!

Anyone interested in the drivetrain? Solid, dependable. I am willing to sell the Engine, Trans, T-Case and rear axle. It would motivate my diesel swap!
