i have one off of a 83 22r. don't know if the exhaust is diffrent from yer 85. it is the dual-tube piece between the mainfold and cat. the flange at the cat is cut off on this one.

i'll take a pic of it in a bit...it stopped raining and i'm going to take the oppurnity to throw my carb on.

on my 83 i have the 02 sensor in the manifold and also a sensor that bolts into the cat.
it don't leak but you will have to weld or clamp the cat to it. the previous owner cut the flange at the cat off...normally the cat bolts to this pipe with a flange.
a paypal account is pretty easy to setup. go to paypal.com and sign up for an account instantly since COD is a pita. can do money order but it will take longer.

not sure on 85. my 81 had the sensor in the cat too. it looks like a 3-4" probe about an 1/8" thick with a wire attached to it and a tab with 2 bolt holes in it where the wire comes in.

yep i took those pics today. san luis obispo is halfway between san fran and LA. it has poured for the last couple of days too...today was lucky. went to bed and it was dumping buckets and wind was rattleing the house...woke up and it was sunny, had a few spots of rain today but not bad.

This is NOT an O2 sensor.   It's a temperature probe that's purpose was to turn on/off the smog pump to allow for faster warm up of the cat.  Vehicles with this probe did not have O2 sensors.

O2 sensor on the manifold should make it all ok.  Your truck has a real emmissions computor that reads the O2 sensor for emissions adjustments.

If you need that down pipe I'll be at Winter Fun Fest in Grass Valley Jan 14/15/16.  Let me know if you need it.
