Topic: 3rz balance shaft delete, looking for results

I am getting ready to swap in the 2003 3rz I have, Im thinking about doing the balance shaft delete. Apparently, dozens of people have done it(mostly on other forums) but nobody cared to post up results (that I can find). What I want to know is does it vibrate at idle right now? Did it before (if you ever ran the motor before the delete) and is it "tolerable" "not tolerable" or you "did not notice a difference." Thanks in advance

I am doing it on my 4Runner project but I don't have it running yet so I can't give you anything.  I called LC and talked for a while and according to them you wouldn't notice any difference between a 3RZ with a balance shaft delete and a 22re.

One of my balance shafts was wiped out anyway so it just made sense to leave them out rather than fixing it.  A little extra HP freed up wouldn't be bad either.

Is there any other gain other than maybe 2 hp for this mod? Why wouldnt you just leave it alone for just 2 hp
