Topic: how rare are stepside tacomas... can yea swap a regular bed on em

A friends dad has one that just got smashed into in the rear.... to the point where he needs a new bed.

I have many connections threw my dealership and have called wrecking yards EVERYWHERE... no one has even seen one before lol..

i think i have personally seen 3, EVER....

so if i cant find a bed. I guess im looking to see if i can throw a regular bed on er and call it good?  dont see why not but was hoping the marlin crew may know for sure..

Ive only seen 2 ever.
throw a reg bed on it, it will fit
only thing might be a gas spout length

Yup, seen a few around here. I think the step Taco looks better than the regular bed. Been trying to talk my stepdad into getting one. The step Tundras are gross though!
