shipping would probabally be $50-80. Not worth it when I can pick up a pair for $60 at the local wreckers.

2 wheel drive's give you about 2" more lift and they will accept standard bushings like a normal front spring.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

WT,  stock rear 2wd springs give about 2" lift?  If I remember right they're the same lenght untill '89?  If that's the case do you think '87 2wd springs will allow the same lift?  Please say yes, I have a set of very low mile '87 2wd rears and will very happily slap em into the rear of my '80 4by if they'll lift it.   Nate

If you were to put 4x packs in the front and then pull them and install 2x rears, the 2x's would be about 2" higher.  And yes 79-88 are the same.

Any idear what the spring rate difference would be?  I've thought about this for a few years, but have never got a solid answer out of anybody,   Nate
