3.4 Wiring help.. mostly a long shot
« on: May 24, 2010, 04:46:58 PM »
So im wracking my brain here trying to find this plug in a diagram.. ive looked all through every single diagram i could find and even paid for a few days on https://techinfo.toyota.com to see if they had anything different.

What im dealing with 99 tacoma limited 4x4 3.4l (5VZ-FE) engine and matching ECU (89661-04450) (manual)
Into a 88 4runner v6 SR5

i have this plug which im told goes to the interior wiring but i cannot find it on any of the tacoma schematics ( color matching)

i also have a giant plug off the engine harness that i have to splice in somewhere but i'll get to that after i figure out the ECU

11)LG-R To cruise ECU
12)G-O SPI speed sensor
14)B-Y  12v always hot.
16)L-Y  AC1 On below 2v at idle, off 12v
23)W-R 12v Key hot
24)G-W  Brake switch.

Another interesting note is that All Data does not list a 99 Tacoma Limited.  However they do list a 98 Tacoma Limited.  It does not seem to affect the PCM wiring.

Pins
1)V-W
10)P
15)R-b

Should all be for the Auto trans position indicator.
