Topic: crossmember upgrade??????????

i got a 85 yota automatic, my t-case is stock, and i was wondering what kind of crossmembers are out there to upgrade, tired of it getting caught up on rocks...

also do you guys know if they sell torque converter upgrade too??

why do you think you need a torque converter upgrade?? i can understand the skid plate but i dont know of anyone that makes them for the auto tranny

Do a little research, there are places out there that'll rebuild and upgrade the toyota converter, just don't remember who.

dude i would be so down to build my own i just wouldnt know where to start??? what kind metal to use?? thickness?? and as far as making bends i got nothing to bend metal... unless do it old school... find something to bend it on lol.....

 I run Marlins cross-member-skid plate, and really like it. All-Pro off road also makes a nice one that I thought about, but Marlin's excellent reputation won me over. It's a heavy pregnant dog tho. Had to drop it to rebuild the tranny and T-cases, and thought i was going to die.

anyone know who sell budbuilt skid plate cheap?? i got auto trans and single case stock

Pay what it cost or find one used, i doubt your going to find it significantly cheaper than any other place unless you buy it from someone else.
