get a marlin flywheel

http://www.marlincrawler.com/clutch/flywheel/flywheel-i4-24-liter-8-78

$78

No thanks. I'm not waiting 2 months to get another Chinese made flywheel from just a more expensive vendor that claims their products are gold.
My "marlin" 1 inch MC is made in Taiwan. Not happy about that.

I'm also upset about changes to prices and products lately. Looks I'll be purchasing allpro for suspension needs.

On the otherhand, I will still purchase a front and rear bumper from marlin. Hopefully it doesn't take 3 weeks to ship

I figured I'd splurge and buy this $4.18 gasket through Toyota instead of ultra grey! NO MORE COOLANT LEAK!

Today was a lot of fun.

I got Power steering pump, Alternator, and radiator in.
Also a new fan clutch because my old one mysteriously went bad while it was sitting. :headscratch:

I found out that the 4runner radiators are bigger, or at least the one I have, so I'm gonna have to clearance the hood for it.

Also put the washer fluid reservoir from 4runner in because its twice the size.

I learned today that the fuel doesn't flow unless you turn the key to start position.
That was stressing me out all day because I was troubleshooting that problem only to find there was NOTHING WRONG!
It would have been running today if it weren't for that.

Everything works except for horn and heater control lights.

It will be running tomorrow for sure!  :willynilly:

Got everything important back together over the past few days.

I finally got to drive it today.

It runs great but I was expecting it to be little quicker than it is.
The transmission shifts just fine but 5th is a little noisy.
I took it thru some bumps and it doesnt squeak or rattle at all.
The power steering works great.

But there is a lot of BAD and alot of work left to do.

T-Case is stubborn to shift from 2 to 4 and the shifter interferes with reverse

Heater core needs to be flushed - no heat

Brakes SUCK! pedal goes too floor but probably because I only have front brakes hooked up.

Getting rear discs from TG and I have to piece together a rear brake line from the 4runners left over brake lines.

A lot of misc stuff left to do also.

Bolt in seats.
Attach fenders
Install grille
Attach Tailgate
Shift boot
switch out Tcase shifter
Get the free meats I scored installed
