Topic: remote mounted radiators???

i know alot of mud boggers, and buggies take thier radiators and put them in the bed.

space is at a premium under my hood, and i really have no room for my radiator

now i cannot put it in the bed, as i do not have one, and ther is no way in hell that its going in the cab

but i do have a pretty good spot on the drivers side wheel well for what would be a pretty deep, rectangular radiator, i guess that you would call it a side mount. any one done this, seen it, heard of it??


the area im refering to is between the master cyl and where my battery now lives

Take a hint from Willy Mammoth and just extend the front end by 3-4".

M buddy was able to get a short wide radiator fit with his 7mgte aplication.  He just had to cut the core support a bit.

oh hell yes, it also was for a 3.0 litre, but carries almost a gallon more fluid.
