i have two bent rear axles in my 4runner, as far as i can tell, housing is still straight. i was told that 4runner axles are 7mm longer than the ifs truck rear axles. is this true? is that enough to make any difference if i swap truck axles into my 4runner. also, my 4runner still a.b.s. are the axles in an a.b.s. rear the same as ones without a.b.s.? thanks in advance for the info.

It depends on whether or not you have the 4 wheel ABS. That would have the sensors out by the wheels. 2 an 3 gen pickups do not have this that I am aware of. i dont think that there is a strength difference at all. How are you bending them. Maybe some trussing to a 4 runner axle is in order.

what do you mean bent rear axles? Shafts or housing?

As for longer shafts in the 4Runner. What years are you comparing? You need this info before you can get a solid answer.

the abs and non abs are different however you could put non abs axles in the runner housing

sliding sideways into curbs alot are ya??

lol. no, the guy i got the 4runner from use to take it to the beach a lot, i'm guessing he jumped it. you can see both axles wobble around with the back end in the air and tires spinning

i do have abs, if i put axles in without abs sensors, what will my abs system do?
