Sorry, I have not been on the board for awhile.  I wish I would have seen this sooner.  I would have:

1.   Retorqued the head bolts before tearing back into it.
2.   Got a tester for exhaust in coolant.
3.   Burp the cooling system with heater valve open.  My 20R/22R Hybie will spew/blow out the radiator neck.

does it still do this after you retorqued the head??

if so you sir have a blown headgasket
