I have a Dana 60 rear axle that I was tearing down and inspecting from oil leaking into the brakes. The hub bearings had no gease, but did have oil in the hub. Bearings and all look to be in good shape, but the only seals to be found in the whole axle were the hub seals. Now I've heard that the D60's work with gear oil thoughout the axle including the hub. Is this true?

yes they oil throughout with gear oil

hub seal is the problem
