Hi,
I am upgrading my suspension to MC 4" springs, from a pro comp 3" setup with stock hangers on the rear and SAS conversion on the front (91 V6 Pickup). I was lining up the parts on the rear and noticed the new springs almost fit the existing hangers (when relaxed/no load) I guess it would be bad to just put the new springs on now?
I also bought extra MC front hangers for the rear springs (to mount before switching to the new springs), these need to go 5" in front of the existing hanger, but this ends up being on the curved part of the chassis. Is this right or would I need to add 'padding' under the hanger to fit the curve?
Cheers,
Michael
