lc eng. t-chain
« on: Aug 18, 2009, 09:55:36 PM »
so, got the head on, on my rebuild   the chain is riding on the metal guides from lc.  should there be any clearance between?
i had the engenbuilder metal guide and t-chain kit on my last motor and there was little clearance on the single driver side steele guide.

seems as the lc kit has less on both.  it does turn over smoothly though.

i hope im good. i know i stress over little stuff but i have so much money in this righ now i cannot afford to have it blow up!

There should be no clearance between chain and guides. Thats why the one guide has a slot instead of a hole so u can tighten it.
