ok.. i always have trouble welding when im welding under my truck and there is no gravity to pull the bead into the steel but it just only pulls it down to the ground!! is there a special wire for this?? you guys get what im sayin??? i always see welds were the gravity is pulling on the beed away from the material and it always looks like a good solid bead with penitration.....any help!! oh by the way its a mig

harder with a mig. you just have to work at your "stich welding". I try to do that kinda welding with a ac/dc welder running on dc.  best way to go. butt it can be done with a mig. just have to work on your techneak? (spelling)  good luck, and try on some other metal other than your truck till you get it right.

just tach weld then keep doing that al the way around

Turning the temp down might help a little.  Other then that i haven't really had that trouble.  Haven't welded tomany things upside down.  When i do weld upside though i usuallt don't pay attention to the drops.  I just put something ontop of me to cover my clothes and go from there.

And always hold your mouth WIDE open. this helps the weld cool faster!      :bull crap:

Turn your wire speed up a bit. You'll have to mess with it until you get it set just right, but increasing the wire speed will allow you to do the upside down thing. Sometimes helps if you can have someone else adjust the speed while you weld. They can listen for the just right sizzle.

  hey i had the same problem, when arc welding but its the same answer to fix it while mig welding. you just have to pause each time you zig zag across your seam

                               
/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\  pause for a half a second at each piont so you fill in the edge, I felt like a real dumb ass after my welder buddy reminded me

why did'ant I think of that?    but you know crazy glue is preaty good for this kinda stuff too.
