need parts for '83 SR5 4x4
« on: Mar 27, 2009, 02:12:03 PM »
Hit a deer dead center of the front bumper a couple of nights ago.:driving: :yikes:

I need the right headlight trim (big plastic piece around headlamp), 1 front turn signal bucket with plug, two amber turn signal lens, a good front bumper and the sheet metal trim below the bumper that goes across between the fenders.
We manage to save the grill with a bit of expoxy.

The new Marlin crawler tie rod came out without a ding, lots of blood and fur but no damage. Thank you  Marlin!

need to post a location. I have all of those parts minus a perfect bumper, I do have a bumper but it has a slight bend on one end.

Location, yep I bet that would help. :)
I'm in N. California, Lake County. That's  north and west of Sacramento about 100 miles or so.

Pics. I didn't take any pics of the damage while it was on the vehicle, but I could take a couple of shots of the damaged pieces.

Well so much for taking a photo, the grandkid took the damaged parts, including the bumper, to the dumps! Good lad but I didn't want to have that stuff tossed just yet. Bumper looked like this...>

Rather than buy the front valance, have you considered cutting the front fenders flush with the bottom of the corner lights?  Eliminates the valance and looks pretty clean.

We picked up a new to us bumper and installed it last night. It's a tube bumper with a cutout for a winch and no room for the valance so cutting the fender is being considered.

Which headlight bezel are you calling the right one?  I have a chrome one for the driver's side.

Headlight trim would be for the passenger side.
Sorry for the confusion, mine.
Still need one turn signal assembly with plug for the front drivers side and two amber turn lens.
