need elctrical help on an 84 ext cab!!
« on: Jan 28, 2009, 02:57:24 PM »
so i flopped my right wheeling about three weeks ago and ive been having super weird electrical issues.  my lights died then my alt took a :pokinit:.

ive replaced the alt checked the wiring and it still is having issues charging.

if its jumped with my dd which is a 98 blazer then it runs just fine.  but when i unhook it it just coughs and dies when i turn on the lights or radio ie anything electrical.

i jumped it today and it ran for abotu 30 min but then just completely died.

if anyone can help me itd be most appreciative.  thnks

have the alternator tested... never heard of tony's alternators... but HALF of the remanufactured alternators are :pokinit: sometimes they work, sometimes they don't ... maybe time for warranty replacement...

check the external voltage regulator as well
