Topic: 82 efi wiring question

I have an 82 22r that id like to convert to efi I have an engine harness and comp from an 85 anyone have a wiring diagram to splice my 82 harness to the efi 85 harness. I looked on pirates 22re swap faq they have a great refrence for an 85 plus wiring but I need early wiring help

i swapped an '87 motor into a '80 truck.  all i needed to do was splice 3 or 4 wires from the newer harness into the older electrical system.  one of them being the ign and one being acc.  the big pita was marking all the wires from the newer harness an figuring what all the wires go to.  i used a wiring diagram from the back of a repair book that i got from the parts store.  i kept the starter and alt systems from the older motor intact.    good luck
