well when i last was working on my junk in the summer door buzzer and such worked. trucks been sitting since, go to put in my newly rebuilt engine, got to turn the key for breakin and getting nothing. ended up just using jumpers.  no power to fuelpump, and seems theres no more power to the colom and guages. was sitting outside tarped, no windshield. ran outa light befor i could dive into it as i was to focused on running my engine (been two long years since ive heard it run on all four cyls).  anyone had this problem?  im guesing a few bad wires mabey

o and i only have power to the coil when the key is at the on position, headlights work aswell

It could be that some moisture got into the IGN switch and lightly corroded the contacts, or some connectors. get a multi-meter and a wiring diagram, and start tracing the wires. Also, check your fuses, not necessarily for blown ones, but for corrosion on the blades. Sometimes it doesn't take very much corrosion to prevent current flow.
It ain't worth doin' if you don't have to clean up afterwards!

k well i got all my dash lights working, now does the fuel pump have constant power to it?  right now it only has power when the key is at the start position.  i'll just run a constant power to it for the meantime if that is the case
