Anyone know the specs on a front smittybilt bumper?

So im selling my front bumper to a guy with a 94 yota. its comin off my 86 yota. will it work? also, anyone kno the weight of one. my bumper has a hoop...and it doesnt have a winch slot. also...i can do this my self....but anyone kno the length (side to side) if u kno...that would be awsome....and guys...i searched for info before i posted...so dont get pissed..lol..all i found was jeep crap and bumpers for sale..no specs. Thanks

It will be different, take a good look and you'll see that the holes will not line up.

my buddy has a 93...thought they were the same style as the 94's...and he has a smitty

Yeah the 93 will fit the 94 but the 86 will be different.

does he just need different brackets? if so how much are those?

The 3rd gen bumper brackets mounted to the side of the frame, not the front of the front x-member as on the 2nd gens.

Smittybuilt wont have bracket for him to use, but he should be able to make something using the '94 oem brackets. 

The 3rd gens are also wider than the 2nd gens so it may not look right even if you fab up something to mount it.

If you don't have access to a welder/aren't into fab work, the easiest/simplest thing to make would be an "L" bracket out of some 1/4" steel plate.  You would bolt it to the bumper and then to the stock mounts on the '94.  I make something similar to this when building one of my bumpers(designed for 3rd gens) for a 2nd gen, it allows me to use one design/mounting system.
