22r with a weber carb

Is any one useing a weber on 22r ? I'm looking for a different type of air filter set up
other than what you get stock for the weber anybody got any ideas or pix of something
a little different ?  thanks :driving:

LCengineering sells a kit to mount a 10 or 12 inch round K&N

thats what i have, pics are somewhere in my build around pages 10-12

i tried running a stock 20r filter with adapter with a weber on a 20/22r . ran OK below 4500 rpm but loaded up above that. not a good set up. thought about trying to mod another filter but hood clearance might be an issue on a gen1 unless it has a body lift. I'd like to see a pic of a LCE or other filter being used on a real truck with a weber too.

I have a weber 32/36 with the LCE swirlie plate, neat stuff works pretty good. Its like a throttle body spacer on FI. swirls the air runs great, but for a filter I bought the one from joetlc on ebay. its just a rectangle K&n style.

You can find ones that use foam too.
