Topic: Diagnostic code help

85 4-Runner 22RE I just got my project truck running (well idling at least) it runs rough when i press on the gas and the check engine light is on so i ran the code and it comes up with a code 2 and it said:

MANIFOLD AND/OR AIRFLOW METER SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT

--AIRFLOW METER/CIRCUIT

--MANIFOLD PRESSURE SENSOR/CIRCUIT

--ECU
 :headscratch:What does this mean i tried to look it up in my Toyota manual and all i found was the ECU any idea what the other ones are? I would appreciate the help!

it means you have an issue most likely in your Air Flow Meter. That is the big thing on top of your air cleaner. You can try pulling the plug off and cleaning up the terminals. Or maybe swap another one on to see what happens.

do you have all the clamps on the intake tube tight? they must be tight for the wind vein inside the maf to open properly.
