Tacoma Gas Tank V.S. T-100 Tank
« on: Apr 22, 2008, 06:18:18 AM »
I have a T-100 with a bad leak in the tank and I can't find a used tank that's in decent shape around my area. I was able to find a Tacoma tank that has no rust on it at all. Will the tank be the same between the Tacoma and the T-100? The T-100 and Tacoma both have the 3.4L V6 and both are 4x4. Thanks!

Just an update to this...I called around and Autozone supposedly had tanks for my T-100. I ordered one to the tune of $450. Went to pick it up and it was the wrong tank. So just a heads up to everyone. Autozone can't get the right tank for a 95 T-100 with a 3.4 V-6. The tank they have listed is for a T-100 with a 3.0L. Anyways, I ended up having to go straight to Toyota for a tank to the tune of $600. No other company makes a tank for the T-100. Also there are now only 11 tanks left in the world for this truck.(At least that's what the parts guy said.) If you need a stock tank you may want to grab one.
