witch hydro kit? TG or PSC
« on: Feb 14, 2010, 12:26:30 AM »
Well im getting ready to order my full hydro kit. And wanted to get others opinion on what brand would be better, I am looking at the Trail gear kit and the psc kit. i have found them on line for under $1200 each. PSC was a lil cheaper then TG. i have read about about. They both seam to be a good choice. Just wanted to see your opinions on the kits. and witch route i should take. thank you

I have not looked into psc full hydro but I know psc hydro assist is way more cash than the TG set up... If it is cheaper than I would go psc all the way there known for there hyrdrolic components. I have heard bad about trail gear rams and a little bad about there orbital valves but mostly there rams.

I wouldn't use tg's hydro stuff on a lawnmower.  I've installed a couple complete kits for friends and both of them are leaking piles of crap.  One of them still has a single original pressure hose the other has been completely warrantied.  Sure their crap has a lifetime warranty, but if you spend a lifetime replacing garbage with more garbage what's the point?

I just bought the full hydro kit from them for my truck. I hope it works out ok. If I had known I think I would have thought twice.
