Surprise!
« on: Jul 29, 2008, 11:16:18 AM »
My future SIL planned a surprise wedding for today. They weren't going to get married until Aug '09, but this is their anniversary (no she's not prego!) and he wanted to make it official. He arranged for her to have the day off, got the judge and everything.

Anyway, Nidara just sent me a picture to see if I like the dress she's picking out...so here's a sample.

My baby is getting married!!!

Thanks every one! The ceremony was at Ft. Huachuca at a place named Reservoir Hill, a nice promontory with views that kill. There's a lot of old west history that is based on that fort. Anyway...I barely cried, so that was a success (I am a huge cry baby when it comes to her). I don't know when I'll get more pics, I'll post 'em when I get 'em.

Next step, in no less than 9 1/2 months, Grand kids!

Thanks, everyone, for putting up with my pride!

I don't know if anyone is ever ready to be parents...I wasn't, but with a few blessings and a lot of luck she turned out ok. I, kind of, hope they have a couple of years to get in a good groove before they have kids. But, I've noticed that kids gravitate to them...you can't fool the young 'uns.
