Just think, we probobly wouldnt be breaking as many parts if it wasnt for all the glorious torque multiplying reduction from Marlin either.

I finally read this thread tonight. I have no idea if the birf eliminator is stronger than those birfs

I have not broken anything yet...but I do not hardcore rockcrawl either. I do run trails that have rock sections in them & am not always real nice to those axels if the section of trail requires it. I am running 529's & a Detroit so they do see some stress. They are basically Dana 44 axles & u-joint. I seem to remember they are necked down at the splines. The price is almost a wash with the new Longs, but those look plenty beefy.

I watched Ish shear off the inner right at the yoke on his hybrid yota/60 last year at G-dale.

As I remember (could be wrong) there is no bearing in the axle tube so it could possibly bind/flop a bit at the yoke. The more I think about it I think the axle yokes were shaved a bit also. If he broke it in a comp. who knows what it was that caused it. All bets are off then.

T-100/Tundra hybrid front axle,,,,,,T-100/Tundra center cetion, 3"x.313" DOM tubes, 30spline Longfields, Hendrix Motorsporst 4pin Hub mod.......
