i have recently came across a rolled 95 toyota t100 2wd 5speed with a 2.7 L 4 cyl engine with about 80000 miles
i am wanting to install this in my 85 toyota with dual cases what is nessasary for this conversion
i am fully aware of the wireing and motot mounts what i want to know is what needs to be done to the trans or bellhousing i have found other sites saying i can bolt my trans right to this bellhousing others say i have to use a taco bellhousing

living in the desert makes toyotas
a musthave thing . so much desert to crawl in and so few gas stations.
barstow is great, calico and the hammers are both within a half an hour  drive.

Use the tacobell housing but bolt you trans to the bell housing as it is stronger then the taco trans from what I understand. Also it takes a bit of work but can be done to get the exhaust to clear the front drive line due to the fact there on the same side..other then that its pretty simple..Mybe mike will chime in and clear the tranny strength question up.. :crossed:
Forgiveness is between them and god..
Its my job to arrange the meeting!

t100s had their driveline on the same side as our minis, so the exhaust downpipe from a t100 should help solve that problem.  i think bigmike is using it on his '81
