DUSY TRAIL?
« on: Jul 21, 2004, 09:58:45 AM »
club is heading to dusy next week and i had some questions.
is there a place to park tow rigs there?
is there a detailed map of how to get to the trailhead, map of trail its self?
is there any problems leaving a rig parked, would like to have the tow rig intact when i get back to it.
i haven't been there and looking forward to the run.

thanks, derek

At the very end of the Courtright Res. road, there is a dead end loop where people park their horse trialers, tow rigs and various vehicles owned by hikers. You shouldn't have any problems parking your tow rig there. The trail head is right before the parking loop. More info on the trail can be obtained at the Forest Service Dept. in Prather and again at Dinkey Creek.
   Have fun ;)
