87 samurai just pics mostly
« on: May 16, 2008, 11:52:17 PM »
started with an 87 totally stock then went to 31" LTB's and 4:1 t-case then ditched the sami axles for yotas with 4.10's, 6.5 t-case gears, and some 35X16 swamper boggers

trying to get it wider so it doesn't end up like my brothers did a couple weekends ago

Thats a sweet sami bro. Very simple but looks fully functional.
1st gen yota truck. 37x12.5x15. 5spd dual cases, chevy springs in rear, toyota rears springs in front. Long bed....the list never ends..
Dont try to shift into 6th when u've only got a 5spd! Rubberside down doesnt always mean rite side up!

flip that cinder block so that the two holes are facing up. Much stronger. and throw some wood on it too.

Didn't know about the wood...

Here's me standing next to it. It's not quite driveable, I need brake lines, brake calipers, and driveshafts, then it will be ready to go. waiting on money which is in short supply right now
