I have a clutch or Tranny Question Please help

Ok so last week i did a motor swap in my 88 pickup. I replaced the clutch myself and i did the swap. But the problem is the truck is park and i have it in gear so it wont roll. but sometimes when i put it in gear, i cant shift out of gear is lock into the gear. its done that in 1st and in reverse. I have no clue what to do. Plz help

was this a Marlin clutch??   if so  you must make the rod between the slave cylinder  and the clutch fork as long as possible
or  if its not adjustable  make one 1/4 inch longer

have you bled the clutch? adjusted pedal freeplay?

i had an engagement issue with my truck... i just tightened the bolt [actually pushrod into the master cylinder] behind the pedal and it did the trick

no i havnt bled it yet. ill do that 2marrow and ajust the pedal and see if that works. ill keep you updated.

bleeding and adjusting should be done with any clutch replacement
