any ideas?

well i'm in bit of a jam here
he said he got bolts from toyota and they had a bit of play in them!

so dont know if the threads are bad, or if someone just tapped a new hole for a larger bolt or what

this sucks, i really need this truck on the road

does anyone have any solution here
its a 22re/a340f

Which bolt?
Tapped a hole in what?
Transmission bellhousing bolt maybe? since you ref the eng/tran?

the transmission bolts are too skinny, doesnt bite to thread in

22re bolts are 8x125 and the bolts for the 3.0 are 9x125
could it be possible the ownder before me put in a torque converter off a 3.0 instead of another 22re?

a little update..

fed up and getting the truck towed back tomy place, and will take a look at things myself,
order different torque converter bolts..

22re, and taco bolts..as they use the same trans...different bolt dimensions
if i still cant figure it out i'll just tow it to a reputable shop..

oh and my brother might be bringing home a 80 toy 4x4...body is a lil rough, good frame...200+k on 22r...4spd...comes with extra engine 40k extra tires and all kind of :pokinit: for 900
