K+N Filtercharger
« on: Jun 26, 2004, 04:47:58 PM »
I was finally able to download some photos of my k+n filter with the help of 79yota.  It was a clean install and look less then an hour to install.

Anywhere that sells K&N filters should be able to get a precharger.  I had issues with the oil deteriorating the precharger when they first came out.  The instructions said that you were not supposed to use oil on the filter if you had a precharger.  But now the instructions say to use oil so I think they had a bad batch of material in the begining.

86 runner I picked mine up from Northwest Offroad.  They specialize in Toyota parts and accessories.  The company store is up in Bellingham WA for those of us in WA.  They have a website with limited info on there, but you can order the catalog which is filled with tons of stuff.
