Christmas Gift Ideas
« on: Dec 12, 2007, 07:34:49 PM »
Ok i have an Uncle that I need to get a gift for. He is an avid sportsman, like he hunts and fishes about 3 months out of the year. He also owns half the Cabalas catalog. I want something that is original and not just stuff for him. I would get him a nice knife but my brother got him one that he carries everyday. HELP Please.

Buy him a fly tieing kit, so he can make his own flies for fishing.

Take him fishing for a day...Moost people would rather have a little companionship than an actual gift. I know it sounds cheesy, but I bet he would be excited about it.  :disturbed:

:dunno: mabye set up a hunting or fishing trip for just you and him?  Like gittinit said, sometimes people would rather have the companionship of people they love, rather than "stuff."  Take lots of pics and stuff of the trip, and give them to him in an album or something :dunno:

Yeah, sometimes the person that "has it all" just needs something that they CANT buy. time together with family, a fishing adventure, hell a wheeling adventure.....maybe you just need to figure out a way the two of you can spend some quality time together and forget the material crap since it sounds like he probably has it all anyway
