« on: Nov 22, 2007, 12:04:50 PM »
so i just blew the head gasket on my 22re for the second tyme this year. i have just decided to buy a new motor instead of rebuilding this one again. i was looking at getting a turbo 22rtec motor but was wondering if i need to get an all new injection system? how would i go about doing this motor swap any links or helpfull hints to keep in mind would be killer. even any negative advice on doing this would be appreciated. thanks yall. have a good turkey day.

im in the process of this swap.  it has taken me 4 years.  i totally rebuilt the 22rte  and i used  a complete harness injectors etc  i think now  i would go with a 3rz swap.  instead.  there is a 22rte bullitin board!!! cheack it out.  the ct 20 sucks. the ct26 is an option.  it is all relative to budget
