Since it is a 20r I am guessing that you have the L43 tranny? I think the L43 is actually a 2wd transmission with an adapter to fit the t-case (for 4x4). Either way...bought my truck with a blown 20r (79 4x4 with L43)...guy I bought it from gave me a 22r out of an 85 2wd...22r slipped right in where the 20r was...motor mounts and everything. So yes, from what I did with my truck I would say you are good to go.

22R is only a bored out 20R well as far as the bottom end is concerned

im trading my 22r with blown head gasket for whatever i want off of this guys 2wd 84 parts truck, anything you need cody? im getting another a/c setup and brackets, radiator, fender doors, tranny, and some others stuff

that is weird, no i dont think I do need to find a carb, to hold me by till i get efi so if you run across one of those let me know, oh the heater/ cooler thing (not sure what its called to adjust the temp and vent, defrost, and fan,) mine broke and is stuck on cold it sucks so if you can grab that too.

yeah, i dont know about them though, they are just a pile of springs, i know that there is f-150's and toyota fronat and rears, all mixed up but youre more than welcome to make a pack

yeah rears up front mixed with 44044 waggys stock location plus shackle, but im gonna throw some 4" lifted rears mixed with what i take off instead, to stuff my 42 iroks
