Topic: Really dumb question but............

I am swapping my 22r for a 22re, I'm in the middle of it but I can't get the starter to turn, I know that the main wire on the starter goes to the battery but where does the little wire with the clip go. I feel dumb asking this but I  can fiqure it out.

that little wire goes to the engine harness that traces back to  the passenger fender, that is the signal wire fo the starter

Sounds like the wire that goes to the starter solenoid. Should be a spade connector on the starter
