you could start a marlin board online class for them, 4wheeling 101  :grad:

oooooooor they could just read the FAQ, though that would be the easy way out

Maybe they should not be able to post in certain threads until they've reached a specific post count. Just like not being able to read PM's or post pics right away (maybe that would prevent threadjacking). Then unlock their "board rights" as they go. Maybe a "Before you begin" questionnaire that gauges how much they already know or how new they are to this stuff which could jump them ahead for their noob status. If they're serious about the board they'll stick around. If not, then, they'll just move on.   :twocents:

I don't think the post count is a good determining factor on your knowlege level, I have a few friends that rarely post here but they do have accounts. Does that make them any less knowlegable? I don't think so. Everyone gets stuck on how many posts you have, I generally base my thoughts on someone by what they post when asked a question. I personally don't know everything about building a rig, but that doesn't mean I don't have answers to a lot of things that I've personally done to my rigs. It all starts somewhere and if I've had a hand in helping someone figure out how to fix, adjust, add, improve or break something I'm happy with that. Im quite confident that there are a lot of people here that know a whole lot more than I that have a bunch less posts than I do.
