selling my trailer
« on: Jun 26, 2007, 03:57:43 AM »
I've gottalotta stuff changing very soon so I need the money.
selling the trailer I've been building.  I'll add in the measurements asap but here it is.
$1,200 neg.
not yet registered or titled (If you even have to do that, I don't know)
two 5k axles (99% sure on that, I'll double check)
brakes on both axles
boomerang shackle setup for better ride and weight distribution
lightweight 1/8" construction with some 1/4" structural supports
drive over fenders or narrow rig hauling between them
battery mount up front, 2" hitch, room for a toolbox and winch mount on tongue.

I'm going yota JUST so I can buy from Marlin more.

got some measurements today.

7' wide
14' long (20' total b/c the tongue is 6')
5' 4" inbetween fenders

the more I look at this thing the more I wanna take a weekend and finish it completely.  then I can sell it for 2G's plus
btw- this thing would make a great ATV trailer as well as a Rig Trailer b/c it's light!

ALSO- I did all the footwork today to learn about registering and taggin the trailer.  All the owner needs to do is fill out a:
MVR-15
MVR-1
Have a DMV inspection officer certify that it is "road safe"
stamp VIN into it and pay for your new tag  ;)
It is a 7k lb trailer... sorry for the confusion
I hope that helps some of you "fence sitters"
