Dual Toyota cases. Nor-Cal. $500
« on: May 07, 2007, 12:12:20 PM »
These came out of a 4runner I bought. Marlin Adapter, I was told it has the 4.7 gears in the rear case, I have no proof, but the guy that built the truck seems like a stand up dude, and I belive him. I am only bringing it up because I didnt see the gears go in the case or buy them. But it feels low.

It leaks like hell, needs to be pulled apart and put back together with new gaskets Has a t-case e brake and a home brew crossmember.

I had to take four of the shifterboot bolts and the mount/bushing thing.

Ok here is the fun part on Thursday as I was loading the runner up it just wouldnt move. No grinding or poping or any strange sounds. It felt like it was going into gear, but the rig would not move. I dont know what the problem was. It could have been the clutch, or something could have come lose in the cases?..........

I pulled the shifters out and everything looked fine. I have no idea, and dont have the time to screw with it. The tranny in the pics comes with the cases because I dont feel like pulling it off and trying ti sell it separate.

Will not part or ship. In Wheatland CA.

Yes I had driven it off and on the trailer a few times. And a little light wheeling. I have no idea what happened.
