I have an 85 toyota and it has auto locking hubs. This person is selling some aisin hubs with gaskets and o-rings but no cone washers and nuts for 120 bucks. They are painted and look basically brand new, do guys think 120 bucks is to much? Also how much do you think i could get for my auto hubs if any? Thanks
$3,29 is EACH, for cone washers,Marlin has the same manual hubs for $290 each, NOT a set EACH

so the SA have 30 splines in the hub right?? and then 27 in the birfield and 30 in the carrier.... correct me if i am wrong please!
At the risk of hyjacking this thread......What are the differences between IFS lockouts and solid axle lockouts besides the hub gear splines/diameter?
NICE!!! thats what i thought!!! i see that sky has a kit to put IFS on a straight axle?? how does that work?? it kind of confuses me!!! hey gittinit, my paypal should have the $$$ in it tomorrow sometime if it isn't lying to me!!! i will let you know right away though!!!!
I'm not positive, but I think that is the only (and BIG ) difference I've had two side by side, and had to count the splines to make sure I was putting the IFS ones back on but at the time I wasn't looking for the differences other than that
i have a thread somewhere on here about this, you cannot mount ifs lockouts on the SA... what you can do is mount part of the hub body of the ifs with a spacer from sky that will allow you to widen the front end a few inches, its the same as just throwing on a wheel spacer..... again, the ifs lockout (turny thing) will not fit on a solid axle, at all, no way, no how.....
I have put a solid axle gear into a hub, so I know that will work. My main concern is wheather or not the gear will contact the splines corectly. Are you trying to tell us that the hub dials will bottom on the birf?I would like to read your old post on this. Will ya give me a link Please Jimbo?
ok... thanks for clearing that up!!! i didnt think it made much sense the way they have it worded on their website!!! yeah, i'm going with 1.5 inch spacers to match to my 92 rear axle! i'm getting SA hubs but i already have 3 sets of ifs soo....
