« on: Apr 08, 2007, 10:25:24 PM »
well i have quickly noticed a big problem with getting hung up on rocks on my rear spring hangers so im just wondering if anybody else is having the same problem and has added some metal to em to make them easy to slide over and how is everybody doing it Thanks Ryan

Which hangers did you buy?  I have the sloped but haven't installed yet, I'm pretty sure they'll slide over stuff pretty well.

Just add a triangle to the front of the hanger so it has a more gradual slope.

i was thinkin about a frenched hanger with the 5" spring and a longer shackle. i think that would also make for a good pinion angle. ive got hte 4" up fornt so i think it would match up pretty close.

Exactly right, its what I have on mine only with 5" Marlins up front and  did not even have to touch  my stock spring pads got the perfect pinion angle. Just check my avatar, you will see the truck sits nice and level.
