Topic: Reverse and charge light

 Well I noticed last night that when I put the truck in reverse my charge light comes on. It doesn't do it with the head lights so all I can figure it the backup lights are shorting out somewhere. would that cause the charge light to come on? I HATE searching for electrical shorts

Thats a trip, I figured those two wires would be the furthest from each other.  I guess try starting at the trans and see if you can follow the backup light wires to the fuse block, I am with you on the electrical,hate it.
