Does anyone know the tooth count for a 4.30? I just bought a 4.30 third member from TAP and the tooth count is 35-8 and i come up with 4.375, do they consider this a 4.30? 34-8 would be closer (4.25) but i cant come up with a 4.30 Can some body please clarify?

That would be a 4.38. I got it from the FAQ on Pirate4x4.

4.30 is 43/10.  Much stronger 10 tooth pinion.

35/8 is 4.37  Sounds like you missed one tooth on the ring.  You got jobbed.
