spedo gear
« on: Feb 25, 2004, 04:27:13 PM »
I searched old post and could not find much on the spedo gear.  My speedometer slowley stopped working last weekend.  When I checked to see if the cable was tight I noticed that the part where the cable threads to was spinning and I could pull it in and out about 1/8".   Is this a common problem.  I got this tranny/tcase about one month ago from a friend.  I know he had a problem with the speedo but I think it was the cable.  Am I going to have to pull the case to fix this problem?
