i'm getting ready to install my gears with a full spool in back .and the question is why a solid crush sleeve with a full spool ? and i'm putting a lockrite in front should i use a solid crush sleeve here ? oh yeah this will never see the road other than on a trailer .

A spool or locker puts more load on the pinion and in time will compres a regular crush sleeve.This will give you slack in your bearing load causing bearing failure.

...meaning that you should use the solid crush sleeve both in the rear and up front.  its better to spend a lil more now then have a bearing failure down the road.
