Rear Driveshaft Question
« on: Feb 18, 2007, 04:50:39 PM »
I will be taking my driveshaft in tomorrow to have them modified.  I have an 85' 4Runner and have installed the Marlin 4" lift upfront and 5" lift in the rear.  I also installed dual cases.

I plan on running the front CV shaft in the rear.  My question is this...When they setup the rear drive shaft - what should be the compression and extension at ride height.  I'm going to reuse the stock slip yoke.

you would be wise  to use the 8 inch slip yoke

I'm using the 8" up front.  I have yet to hear anyone suggest using an 8" in the rear...

the rear will be fine with the stock slip.  mine only has about 2 inches of up travel i believe and it works good.
